A former Kentucky quarterback can’t seem to find the right fit. Akron native Danny Clark is back in the transfer portal.
Clark, a long-time Ohio State commitment, originally signed with Kentucky in Jan. 2017 after winning a couple of Ohio state championships at Archbishop Hoban. The big lefty spent two seasons in Lexington as the third string quarterback before seeking greener pastures elsewhere. Clark started one season at Co-Lin Junior College in Mississippi before landing at Vanderbilt.
His one and only season with the Commodores did not last an entire season. After losing the quarterback battle to freshman Ken Seals, Clark did not appear in any of Vanderbilt’s first four games, prompting him to opt-out of the rest of the season.
