The top uncommitted prospect from the Commonwealth is beginning an official visit tour in his hometown of Lexington.
KSR has learned that Dane Key’s first official visit will be this Friday through Sunday at the University of Kentucky. He’ll then travel to Oregon for an official visit, followed by a trip to South Carolina.
The Lexington Frederick Douglass wide receiver spent the first day of the open recruiting period on Kentucky’s campus. At the unofficial visit he tried on the Wildcats’ all-white uniforms and struck a pose or two or three.
After Key’s visit concluded, Frederick Douglass coach Nathan McPeek told KSR’s Zack Geoghegan:
“He said it went really well,” Coach McPeek told KSR about his conversation with Key.
