Dan Berezowitz removed from Kentucky football staff following June arrest

LEXINGTON - Longtime Kentucky football staffer Dan Berezowitz is no longer working with the program following a suspension resulting from his June arrest.

UK has eliminated the "chief of staff" position previously held by Berezowitz, a UK spokesman confirmed Thursday. Berezowitz, who will remain with the athletic department until his employment is scheduled to end on Nov. 29, has been reassigned to other duties outside of the football program.

Berezowitz, who has been a key figure on Mark Stoops' staff since he came to Lexington in 2013, was arrested just before midnight on June 27 in Lexington on a charge of fourth-degree assault without visible injury.
