Damien Harris suffers scary leg injury

Damien Harris has been one of the biggest college football stars of the first month of the season, but a sad turn of events may keep it from continuing.

The Alabama Crimson Tide leading rusher sustained a right leg injury Saturday against Kent State.

Harris was hurt on his fourth run of the opening drive Saturday for the No. 1 team in college football. He was then helped off the field without putting weight on his right leg.

Several minutes later, the Harries was carted toward the locker room with his right ankle heavily wrapped.

Now in his true sophomore season, Harris came into the game with a team-high 327 yards and one score in his first season as starter after replacing Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry.
