It was reported on Thursday night that Dallas Cowboys defensive back Kelvin Joseph is currently being investigated for his possible connection to an altercation that led to a fatal shooting in March. The incident happened at a club, where 20-year old Cameron Ray was killed.
On Friday afternoon, the Cowboys released their first public statement on the investigation that Joseph is involved in. The team is currently in contact with local law enforcement, and has alerted league offices about the matter.
“The Dallas Cowboys are aware of the tragic incident that occurred in Dallas on March 18,” the statement said, via NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
