The Kentucky Football practice fields were not filled with the sound of whistles and pads popping on Thursday. They were silent as the team made what the late John Lewis would describe as “good trouble.”
The Wildcats were the first of two SEC schools to walk out of practice, a symbolic gesture to denounce racism and police brutality. Josh Paschal and Luke Fortner spoke for the team at a press conference, but others still chose to take to social media to share their feelings on the matter.
