On Friday, I had a little time to kill before Malik Monk’s game, so I decided to check out the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. I didn’t even know the place existed until some KSR friends recommended it, and looking back, it may be one of the highlights of my trip. I almost double-majored in English and Art History in college (a useful double-whammy, I know), so I jump at the chance to check out art when I can. Crystal Bridges is stunning.
The museum was founded in 2011 by Alice Walton, the daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton, and features one of the most impressive collections of American Art I’ve seen outside of New York and Chicago.
