For the first weekend in a while, I had two full days off, meaning it was time to tackle a mile-long to-do list. Shopping, errands, yard work, etc. dominated my Saturday, but my husband and I capped it off by going to see “Creed.” I’ve been wanting to see the latest chapter of the Rocky saga since it came out, and it did not disappoint. Not only is “Creed” the best sports movie I’ve seen in a long time, it’s the best movie I’ve seen this year. Michael B. Jordan (Vince from “Friday Night Lights”) plays Adonis, Apollo Creed’s son from an affair just before he died in the ring, who longs to follow in his father’s footsteps and seeks the help of Creed’s friend/foe Rocky Balboa.
