After a 10-3 season, the Kentucky Wildcats have a lot of work to do in replacing guys who made that memorable season possible.
Many of Kentucky’s biggest losses were on the defensive side of the ball, including outside linebacker Josh Allen, arguably the greatest pass-rusher in program history. No one player is going to emulate what Allen did in 2018 while winning multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards.
But it would certainly help if the Wildcats had a former top-100 recruit at his position, and it sounds like they could get just that for next season.
