LEXINGTON — With a 10-win season on his resume, Will Levis has already cemented his status as one of the most successful quarterbacks in Kentucky football history.
But a year from now, Levis could make a different kind of impact on the UK record book.
No Kentucky quarterback has been picked in the NFL draft since Andre Woodson in the sixth round in 2008. Only three UK quarterbacks have been drafted since 1966. No former UK quarterback has thrown a touchdown pass in the NFL since Tim Couch in 2003.
In January, ESPN tabbed Levis as a “potential Day 2 pick next year,” but is there room for even more growth as an NFL prospect?
