Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said last week that as many as a dozen players on the Wildcats' team could go in the 2019 NFL draft
That number felt, well, a bit high.
After all, Alabama had 12 players picked in the 2018 draft after winning the national championship, and that total set an SEC and school record for the Crimson Tide.
Kentucky hasn't had more than four players drafted in one year since 1979, when eight went in 12 rounds.
