LEXINGTON – To win six consecutive games in the NCAA Tournament, any national title contender needs to limit the number of possible worst-case scenarios

Even the best teams often arrive to March Madness with an obvious potential fatal flaw.

That was the case for Kentucky in 2010 when John Wall and company entered the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed but looked particularly susceptible to a poor shooting night. In the Elite Eight, that Kentucky team hit just 4 of 32 3s in an upset loss to West Virginia.

Kentucky entered the 2016 NCAA Tournament with Tyler Ulis and Jamal Murray forming arguably the best backcourt in the country after sharing the Southeastern Conference regular-season title then winning the SEC Tournament, but it faced questions due to the lack of a physical low-post presence.
