Corbin’s Treyveon Longmire is getting a crash course on Power 5 football schools this summer, as the offers keep rolling in for one of the state’s top recruits.
Longmire, an incoming junior at Corbin High School, is listed as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports and ranks as the No. 3 player in Kentucky for the Class of 2022. He currently holds 18 Division I offers, with five coming in the month of August from the likes of Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Kansas, Virginia and Michigan.
Longmire first started to turn heads during his freshman season, catching a 59-yard touchdown pass in the 2018 Class 3A state championship game in a 20-19 loss to Central High School at Kroger Field.
