The Kentucky Wildcats traveled to Bowling Green, Kentucky this weekend to compete in the Kenny Perry Invitational.
The Elizabethtown native is a former member of the PGA Tour and currently plays on the Champions Tour. Western Kentucky University, Perry’s alma mater, hosted the invitational for the second consecutive year. Kentucky finished fourth in the tournament, shooting a score of +14 over through three rounds.
Of the twelve teams in the field, Kentucky sat in sixth place after day one. On moving day, they managed to hold their ground and stay in the sixth spot. On Tuesday, however, two members of the Wildcats managed below-70 rounds to move their team to a fourth place finish.
