It’s no secret that Commonwealth Stadium isn’t the most intimidating place to play football. There have been nights where the noise becomes defeaning — Alabama in 1997, Louisville and LSU in 2007, South Carolina in 2014 — but those are not common occurrences.
OK, so the atmosphere isn’t the greatest, but how does Commonwealth Stadium compare to its SEC competition? Barrett Sallee of Bleacher Report doesn’t think the $120 million renovation will turn Commonwealth into a hostile environment.
