Kentucky could have college football’s top scholar-athlete pounding punts this fall at Kroger Field. Colin Goodfellow is one of 156 semifinalists for the Walter V. Campbell Trophy. Distributed annually by the National Football Foundation, the Campbell Trophy is colloquially known as the ‘Academic Heisman.’
Colin Goodfellow began his UK career as a walk-on, then bursted onto the scene in 2021. His 45.9 yard average was the second-best in school history. He’s currently punting balls better than 40 yards per attempt and is on the Ray Guy Award watch list.
While thriving on the field, he has excelled away from football.
