LEXINGTON — John Calipari's evolution on graduate transfers is well documented.
First, he was OK with taking Julius Mays from Wright State in 2013. Then, he decided the rule was bad after close friend Bruiser Flint was burned by Damion Lee transferring from Drexel to Louisville.
Finally, Calipari acknowledged the rule was not going away and he had to find a way to take advantage of it at Kentucky.
Calipari's evolution on the rule has come full circle with the addition of Flint, the former Drexel head coach, to his Kentucky staff.
"I still don’t like it, but you’ve got to do your job," Flint said in a Zoom news conference Wednesday.
