It has been a great run for Gus Duggerton and the Tennessee Volunteers. Coach Duggs, in his first season as head coach of the Vols, has Tennessee sitting at 11-0 and ranked No. 1 after the Vols took down Vanderbilt last night in a close one. Now only Kentucky stands between Tennessee and its first undefeated regular season since Peyton Manning did it in 1998, the last time Tennessee mattered.
Now many of you — most of you, actually — are sitting there asking yourselves, “what in hell are we even talking about here?” It’s a very fair question.
