LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky guard CJ Fredrick will look to finish his college career on a high, and healthy, note.
It just won't be with the Wildcats.
Fredrick announced Friday that he will enter the NCAA transfer portal, posting the news on his personal Instagram account. He'll use the eligibility waiver the NCAA granted amid the coronavirus pandemic to return for a sixth college season.
Fredrick will graduate from Kentucky this spring.
"Having fulfilled this lifetime dream, I feel it is in my best interest to explore every option for my future for so many reasons," he wrote.
