C.J. Conrad is back.
First reported by 247’s Derek Terry, the former Kentucky tight end will return to Lexington in the fall of 2020 as an off-the-field graduate assistant while he works to complete his master’s degree in sports leadership. “I’m glad to be back,” he Tweeted.
The move is only one year after Conrad’s successful career concluded at Kentucky. Poor timing railroaded his NFL aspirations. While performing medical tests at the NFL Combine, doctors discovered a heart condition that required further tests and sidelined him for the physical testing portion of the event.
