As special as this Kentucky football season has been, it’s not a secret that the Wildcats will be losing quite a bit of talent this offseason. When it comes to seniors alone, Josh Allen, CJ Conrad, Mike Edwards, Derrick Baity, and Jordan Jones, among others, will be leaving. Add in star running back Benny Snell likely leaving, and we’re talking about a whole lot of playmakers no longer in Kentucky uniforms going forward.
As nervous as fans may be about losing so much talent, the likely departures believe they are leaving the team in good hands.
During Mark Stoops’ weekly radio show, Allen, Conrad, and Snell came on to discuss their time in Lexington, and all three wanted the fanbase to know that there’s reason for optimism going forward, even if they aren’t there.
