The Kentucky Wildcats scored their first top-25 win in five years with Saturday's 21-13 win over Missouri, and C.J. Conrad was a big part of it.
After nabbing his first three catches – including a go-ahead touchdown late in the third quarter – the true freshman has been named an honorable mention for the John Mackey Tight End of the Week award, it was announced on Wednesday.
A native of LaGrange, Ohio, Conrad recorded his first three career catches against the Tigers for 55 yards and a touchdown. His 24-yard score grab with 1:58 remaining in the third quarter gave the Wildcats a 14-10 lead.
