Jon Cooper from Saturday Down South recently posted an article that discussed how five-star players are often the instant impacts players on their respective teams, with only a handful of them in the country. They went on to mention, though, how often times lower ranked players coming out of high school can make big plays and have huge impacts in their starting season as well. They looked at five players in the SEC East with potential to stand out, and who other than Kentucky’s own incoming tight end, CJ Conrad.
At 6’5” and 245 lbs, Conrad was one of Kentucky’s high priority signees and will add weight to the line with his big frame.
