LEXINGTON, Ky. — One day after the conclusion of its most successful NFL draft in 40 years, Mark Stoops and the Kentucky football program have added a key player for the future.
Four-star Christian Academy offensive lineman John Young committed to Kentucky on Sunday night over finalists Louisville, Ohio State, Georgia, Purdue and Michigan. Rivals.com ranks Young as the 24th-best offensive tackle in the class of 2020 and No. 3 prospect in the state.
"I would like to thank every coach that has given me the opportunity to play at their university," Young wrote in a note posted to Twitter.
