COLUMBIA, S.C. - For the first concert at the University of Kentucky's Kroger Field, the school has landed one of the state's native sons.
Five-time Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton, who was born in Lexington and grew up in Johnson County in Eastern Kentucky, will headline the stadium's first concert on April 25 at 6 p.m. The show, presented by UK Athletics and Live Nation, will also feature Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and Yola. Proceeds from the concert will go to Stapleton's charity.
