Kentucky star running back Chris Rodriguez is back in the starting lineup after missing back-to-back games due to COVID-19.
Rodriguez has missed UK’s two most recent games – both blowout losses – against Alabama and Florida after head coach Mark Stoops revealed the week after the team’s win over Vanderbilt that Rodriguez was one of several Kentucky players dealing with the coronavirus.
While Rodriguez is back, Kentucky will still be short four starters this evening due to injury or COVID-19, five if you include Kelvin Joseph’s permanent absence.
According to UK, starters Quinton Bohanna, Kenneth Horsey, Zach Johnson and JJ Weaver are all out tonight, along with Joseph’s decision to opt out of the remainder of the season to focus on the NFL Draft.
