Newly signed five-star freshman point guard TyTy Washington has high expectations entering his first season as a Kentucky Wildcat.
Along with Georgia transfer Sahvir Wheeler, he will be tasked with turning around Kentucky’s woes at the point guard position that played a major role in a woeful 9-16 2020-21 season that ended with an SEC Tournament first round loss to Mississippi State.
As the point guard, he’ll be tasked with making game-changing decisions which can be a daunting task for any player, especially at the University of Kentucky.
Appearing on Kentucky Roll Call, newly hired assistant coach and point guard guru Chin Coleman who recruited Washington to both Illinois and Kentucky, made it clear he believes Washington will be able to handle the pressure.
