Kentucky Wildcats punt returner Charles Walker is out tonight against the Missouri Tigers, according to Nick Roush of Kentucky Sports Radio.
Walker was the victim of a targeting hit that got an Eastern Michigan player ejected last week, in a game that Kentucky went on to win 24-20. After trying to play through it, he eventually left the game and was considered questionable for this week. Lynn Bowden is likely to return both punts and kickoffs tonight in Walker’s absence.
This is just another injury the Cats have to suffer through; linebacker Jordan Jones is still out after suffering a shoulder injury weeks ago against Eastern Kentucky, and quarterback Stephen Johnson took a beating last week and was limited in practice leading up to tonight’s game.
