Jamal Murray had a game-high 19 points and a game-high eight assists (most ever by a UK freshman) as Kentucky defeated Albany, 78-65, tonight in Rupp Arena. Murray showed us once again that he will be one of the stars in college basketball this season by putting on a show with several highlight reel dunks throughout the win. He’s going to be special, folks.
As for everyone else, there is a lot to improve before this team is anywhere near ready to handle Duke next week. Plenty to work on between now and then, and I’m sure John Calipari will have lots to say about it in tonight’s press conference.
