Last week’s Lexington visit for Kobe Smith ended with some bad news – for N.C. State fans. The 3-star defensive tackle from Lawrenceville, Georgia decommitted from the Wolfpack and a pro-UK announcement was inevitable.
Smith has not pledged to UK just yet, despite a Crystal Ball that reads 100% for UK, but Kentucky did make his Top Three. The Cats have gotten plenty of big bodies on the offensive side of the ball in 2016, but they could use Smith’s 6’3″ 320-pound body on the defensive side of the ball.
