A 48-point performance by Jamal Murray highlighted several Kentucky Wildcats’ outings on Monday night’s NBA hardwood.
Murray’s 48 points, on 19-30 shooting, came with five rebounds and four assists in a 115-107 win over the Boston Celtics. His teammate, Trey Lyles, scored 13 points and blocked two shots in 23 minutes.
Down South, Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo came close to a double-double with 11 points and eight rebounds in a 120-115 win over the Detroit Pistons.
Kevin Knox made his return from injury for the New York Knicks, but only managed to play five minutes to score just two points in 116-115 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
