Kentucky running back Benny Snell is eager to prove himself at the NFL combine. Jon Hale, Louisville Courier Journal
INDIANAPOLIS – Standing four stations apart in the NFL combine interview room Thursday were two running backs who played their own parts in shaping the rebuilding project mounted by Mark Stoops at Kentucky.
At podium No. 2 was Alabama’s Damien Harris, the former Madison Southern High School star who many expected to stay home to play for Kentucky as a five-star recruit before ultimately signing with the Crimson Tide. At podium No. 6 was Benny Snell, Kentucky’s all-time leading rusher who picked the Wildcats the same month Harris signed with Alabama after being passed over by hometown Ohio State for a scholarship offer.
