Could we actually see Jamal Murray playing for the Canadian National Team in the FIBA Americas Championship?
With the tournament set to tip-off in Mexico City later this month, Murray is listed on the Canada Basketball training camp roster. However, the camp and tournament began after the start of classes at UK, meaning Murray can't keep competing with the Canadians if he wants to be eligible for the upcoming college basketball season.
According to Josh Lewenberg of TSN, Canada is trying to work with the Kentucky Wildcats and the NCAA to try and keep Murray for the tournament while keeping him eligible for the upcoming season.
