LEXINGTON – Kentucky basketball’s path to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament may have grown more difficult after a loss at Tennessee Tuesday, but the door is not closed yet.
ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi dropped Kentucky to No. 6 on his seed line – the second-best No. 2 seed – after the Tennessee loss, but Kentucky still has no bad losses on the resume and the opportunity to pile up several more Quadrant 1 victories. Of course, the status of freshman guard TyTy Washington may say much about how Kentucky boosts its resume between now and Selection Sunday.
