Once ranked as high as fifth in the country, Texas A&M is in a midseason downward spiral, dropping five of their last seven games. They had plenty of early season success with upperclassmen on the court, but they’ve sputtered down the stretch in the uncharted territory of difficult SEC play.
Their story is similar to South Carolina’s. Undefeated through their first 15 games, they reached #19 in the country before hitting bumps in the road in SEC play.
When Kentucky came to town and beat them down by 27, it almost derailed their stellar season.
