For the third time in under a year, Cameron Calhoun has committed to a school not named Kentucky.
On Saturday afternoon, the class of 2023 three-star cornerback from Winton Woods (OH) High School announced his commitment to Michigan shortly after the Wolverines upset Ohio State in The Game. Calhoun was in Lexington for an official visit to Kentucky the weekend of Nov. 12 for UK’s matchup with No. 1 Georgia, but he spent the last two weekends in Ann Arbor before ultimately committing to UM.
Calhoun cited his relationship with Michigan defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale, who was previously on staff at Kentucky from 2016-21, as the driving reason behind his decision to choose the Wolverines.
