Calipari wants to play Detroit, but not at risk of endangering SEC play

On Tuesday, Kentucky announced that the Detroit Mercy game has been postponed again due to “concerns with COVID-19 protocols and calendar logistics.” That’s confusing, but today, we got a little more clarity. John Calipari said he’d like to play Detroit Mercy in order to bring his son Brad back to Lexington, but not at the risk of endangering the start of SEC play on December 29.
