Today is graduation day for the Class of 2017 at UK, and before the commencement services began at Rupp, John Calipari pulled Derek Willis and Dominique Hawkins aside to a familiar place to wish them well. Check out this pic of Cal, Willis, Hawkins, and UK President Eli Capilouto in the UK locker room at Rupp, which Calipari calls the “Blue Room.”
“You know the Green Room?” Cal tweeted. “This is the Blue Room. What made me happy is these two were almost giddy. They understand how big this day is.”
Mychal Mulder is also graduating today but decided not to walk, choosing instead to head home to Windsor, Canada.
