LEXINGTON, Ky. – An enraged De'Aaron Fox was so wrapped up in disbelief after he was whistled for a fifth foul Saturday, teammate Bam Adebayo grabbed and hugged and held him in place to cool down.
Kentucky had to play the final 7:28 of its 92-72 win over Auburn at Rupp Arena without Fox after he fouled out, and guard Isaiah Briscoe joined him on the bench later when he was called for a fourth personal. That continued a trend started earlier this week at Vanderbilt, when Fox and guard Malik Monk picked up two fouls each less than four minutes into the game.
