Now that Kentucky has been removed from the SEC Tournament, the next step is learning the team’s spot in the NCAA Tournament. Tomorrow, the bracket will be revealed on the Selection Sunday special on CBS, scheduled for 6 p.m. once all conference tournaments are complete.
As it stands now, a No. 2 seed is the likely seed line for the Wildcats in the Big Dance. Joe Lunardi updated his Bracketology after the game to move Kentucky to his fourth No. 2 seed and the eighth-ranked team in the field. As Lunardi sees it, Kentucky will be in Baylor’s region over regions with Gonzaga, Arizona, and Kansas as the top seeds.
