This morning, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the formation of an ad-hoc committee to help improve the NCAA Tournament selection process. Thirteen college coaches were selected for the group, including our own John Calipari, aka probably the most vocal critic of the Selection Committee and the NCAA in general. The committee will meet in Indianapolis over the next few months to compile suggestions and feedback for the Selection Committee, and don’t think for a second that Calipari is taking this opportunity for granted. This afternoon, Cal released the following statement about the committee:
“I appreciate this opportunity to be on the ad hoc committee, whose mission is to give suggestions to the selection committee,” Cal said.
