As the Kentucky Wildcats close in on their next offensive coordinator, another candidate has emerged, this one being within the SEC.
According to KSR’s Matt Jones, Missouri Tigers quarterbacks and wide receivers coach Bush Hamdan has emerged as a candidate to be Kentucky’s next playcaller.
Hamdan was the Offensive Coordinator at Washington under Chris Peterson and while he hasn’t called the plays at Missouri (the Head Coach does), he basically runs the offense in practice and is a dynamic offensive mind.
Hamdan, who is just 34 years old, is in his first season at Missouri after previously serving as the Washington Huskies’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2018-19.
