Kentucky coach John Calipari and players Hamidou Diallo, Wenyen Gabriel and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander talked about maturity and their NCAA Tournament win over Buffalo in Boise.
BOISE, Idaho – The game started with an apology and ended with one as well.
Before Kentucky’s 95-75 win over Buffalo in the NCAA Tournament second round, Buffalo coach Nate Oats apologized to UK coach John Calipari for saying Calipari had been “whining” about playing so many freshmen all season.
“That was a bad word choice for him talking about their youth all year,” Oats said after the game.
