It’s still so early in the season that it’s hard to make too many secure conclusions about the rotation and lineup for this UK squad. But at least at this point in the season, with one game a blowout and one game a loss, it was clear some guys didn’t see the floor as much when the game was close. Dontaie Allen and Jacob Toppin saw their minutes decrease significantly from Game 1 to Game 2. Allen didn’t even see the floor against Richmond. In the game against Morehead State, Calipari used 21 different combinations of lineup and used only the starting lineup for more than 10 minutes total together.
