Every Monday I break down the UK offensive performance based on down and distance. For this season, some noticeable trends have been occurring but on Saturday a whole new offense broke some of those trends and led the Cats to a victory. Only time will tell if that kind of production will be sustainable for the remainder of the season, but at least for one game, having no quarterback at all actually improved the offense.
1st Down Combined Season Stats Breakdown: There were a lot of 0-2 yard gains in here but UK did just enough in the big play department to stand out.
Run: 24 rushes for 133 yards
Pass: 3-4, 39 yards
Run: 104 rushes for 622 yards, 7 TD (1 fumble lost)
Pass: 37-77, 401 yards, 2 TD, 1 sack allowed
