A lot was made about the plus-minus stats from Saturday’s game against Auburn, and rightfully so. Anybody with two eyes and a brain could see that Dontaie Allen and Lance Ware, along with Jacob Toppin in stretches, were far more effective than Brandon Boston and Olivier Sarr. But the minutes didn’t really reflect that and haven’t seemed to reflect that for much of the season. Hell, Allen couldn’t hardly see the floor for the first 8 games of the year. But have the plus-minus stats really suggested what we think they do?
There were two stats I wanted to look at, especially considering we are a losing team right now.
