The University of Kentucky has had 66 players selected for the McDonald’s All-American game, not counting this year’s crop. And while coming into school those 66 players land in one bucket, they all didn’t perform in that manner. Keep in mind that the first McDonald’s All-American game wasn’t until 1978 so there are a lot of UK legends who didn’t even have a chance to receive that honor, but nonetheless a large chunk of this school’s history is comprised in this era.
