After the Tigers NCAA Tournament win at Rupp, head coach Bruce Pearl was asked about Kelly’s shooting in Lexington.
He joked that Mark Pope was petitioning the NCAA for another season of eligibility so he can go after Kelly in the transfer portal.
“From what I understand, Mark Pope is petitioning the NCAA to give [Miles Kelly] another year of eligibility to come after him in the transfer portal,” Pearl joked. “That’s exactly what I would do if I was Kentucky’s coach.”
