Brian Brohm and Joe Moorhead reportedly in mix for Kentucky OC

The Kentucky Wildcats’ search for a new offensive coordinator is winding down as the early singing period begins soon.

Head coach Mark Stoops said he hoped to have a hire made in time for college football’s first signing period, which begins Dec. 16.

To this point, the only candidate to emerge that Kentucky is showing real interest in is Rams assistant quarterbacks coach Liam Coen.

Now, Matt Jones is reporting that Coen and Oregon offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead are the two favorites for Kentucky’s next offensive playcaller.

I think the two top candidates at this moment for the UK Offensive Coordinator position are LA Rams QB Coach Liam Coen and Oregon OC Joe Moorhead

There are a couple of other folks also involved but these are the two favorites as of today— Matt Jones (@KySportsRadio) December 13, 2020

In addition, Justin Rowland adds that former Louisville Cardinals quarterback Brian Brohm is also in the mix.
