The Breeders’ Cup Classic did not have any surprises as Flightline smoked the entire field in the mile-and-a-quarter race around Keeneland. At 1-2 odds on the board, KSR’s “Kobe Bryant of horses” sat comfortably behind Life Is Good for most of the race before taking the lead at the top of the stretch and running away with an eighth-length victory for the six million dollar prize.
“It is Flightline in a spine-tingling, jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring, Secretariat-like Breeders’ Cup Classic win!”
